To provide mothers with the necessary information regarding the needs of their infants within the first 1000 days of their lives.
- The Department of Health has prioritised the first 1000 days in the life of a child and we have identified the gap of proper information regarding parenting in that specific developmental stages of children.
- We successfully completed a pilot program than ran from March – May 2017 at Somerset Hospital which impacted 62 parents who attended.
- 10 – 15 Participants per program.
- Course Outline: Focusing on the needs of mother and child and reducing health challenges for infants.
