Positive Teenage Parenting Coaching Day Camp

10 Teen mothers and three teenage fathers attended USAPHO Foundation’s Positive Teenage Parenting Coaching Day Camp in Durbanville over the school holidays to actively empower themselves to be the best parents that they can be.

Having to manage being a learner, parent and teenager, these learners from Hector Peterson High School in Wallacedene experience hardships and trials that no child at such a young age should endure.

However, seeing their potential and meeting the need for encouragement and reinforced self-esteem, USAPHO Foundation strives to equip them with the necessary tools to #breakinggenerationalcurses, and positively impact not only their families, but their communities as well.

A fun-filled day was held by all and with minds and belly’s saturated, everyone left feeling rejuvenated and ready to take on the juggling act of being teenage parents.
